How CYT Works
Every session (fall, winter and spring) CYT offers theater arts classes for children as an after-school activity. Classes meet Tuesday afternoons from 4:15pm to 6:15pm for a ten-week session. There are three class sessions throughout the school year, teaching drama, voice, dance and a broad spectrum of specialty theatrical workshops as weekly two-hour classes. Classes are held at Boulevard Baptist Church on the corner of Greenville Street (Hwy 81) and Boulevard. Enrolled students have the opportunity to to audition and perform on stage in a Broadway-style musical performed for the community. CYT's structured classes and productions provide a safe place for young people to build character, values, and confidence while learning a variety of theater arts skills.
